A Visual Journey

As an artistic professional, I’m always looking for the next opportunity to translate what I experience into art. Since 2017, I’ve led a life fully devoted to the arts. It’s no lie to say I live, breathe and dream of art. I have experience in a range of mediums, although I have my own particular preferences that I keep coming back to. I graduated as a visual artist at the age of 56. I went to study traditional techniques and through a personal crisis I came out as an abstract painter. I see the painting process as a means of moving into another consciousness with access to several past memories, experiences, or unresolved emotions, and then in space, I reveal them through color and movement to the canvas. The starting point is the presence and being in the moment. Experientialism and various sensory perceptions, as well as awareness of the constant movements around them, are key elements that need to be tested in a painting process that seeks to present a description by looking at the emotions that evoke natural and environmental experiences throughout the body. Time is an integral part of the experience. My painting style is lyrical and narrative abstract. There are noticeable elements in the abstraction of the narratives. The paintings are built in layers of information about energetic and warm color compositions and I try to create a movement that is almost concrete for the viewer. If my style speaks to you, I’d love to work with you in the future. Please be in touch to find out more and to discuss how we can collaborate on whatever you have in mind.

The most important thing is not what you see, but what you experience and feel.
